Structure and working principle of spur gear pump
Spur gear pump is a common hydraulic pump widely used in various industrial equipment. The following is a detailed introduction about spur gear pumps:
1. Basic structure
The spur gear pump mainly consists of the following parts:
Active gear: Driven by an electric motor or engine, it drives the driven gear to rotate.
Driven gear: meshes with the driving gear and rotates with the driving gear.
Pump body: accommodates gears and hydraulic oil, forming a sealed working chamber.
Import and export: used for suction and discharge of hydraulic oil respectively.
2. Working principle
The working principle of a spur gear pump is based on the meshing and separation of gears:
Inhalation process: As the gears rotate, the meshing points gradually separate, forming a local vacuum, and hydraulic oil is sucked into the pump.
Discharge process: As the gear continues to rotate, the meshing point gradually approaches and the hydraulic oil is discharged from the outlet.
