Classification and definition of control valves

Automobile drive valve

Classification: automotive brake valves are divided into gas and hydraulic valves. Automobile pneumatic valve (4 pieces)

1. Pneumatic valve

Function: the brake valve is the main control device in the vehicle braking system. It can realize the sensitive follow-up control in the braking process and release process of the main braking system of double circuit road.

Composition: the drive valve mainly consists of upper chamber piston, lower chamber piston, push rod, roller, balance spring, return spring (upper lower chamber), upper chamber valve, lower chamber valve, inlet, outlet, exhaust port and vent hole.

Principle: when the driver steps on the foot pedal, the tension rod is stretched to make one end of the tension arm press the balance spring, so that the balance arm moves down. First of all, the exhaust valve is closed and the inlet valve is opened.

Apply the braking force on the top rod seat a, push the piston c down, close the vent d, open the inlet valve j, the compressed air from 11 to a cavity, and then output from 21 to the brake line I. At the same time, the air flow is acting on piston f through hole D to cavity B, causing the piston f to descend, closing the vent h, opening the inlet valve g, reaching the c cavity from 12 compressed air outlets, and sending the output from 22 air outlets to the brake line II. When the brake is lifted, the air pressure at ports 21 and 22 is discharged into the atmosphere from outlet 3 through the exhaust valve d and h respectively.

When the first circuit fails, valve assembly e pushes the piston f downward, closes the exhaust valve h, and opens the inlet valve g to enable the second circuit to operate normally. When the second circuit fails, it will not affect the normal operation of the first circuit.

Train control valve

Introduction: one of the main components of railway braking device. A device on a locomotive operated by a driver to brake an entire train.

There are two kinds of commonly used train brake valves. Among them, the brake valves used to control the braking and relieving effects of the whole train (including locomotive and vehicle) are called automatic brake valves. The brake and relief valves used to operate the locomotive independently are called separate brake valves.
